Key2Act supports, and Ian was a trustee of, the Pattale Health Trust in the Solukhumbu region of Eastern Nepal.

After several trips for both holidays and to assist in coordinating the health post in Pattale, Ian wrote ‘A Little Bit Up: Meandering in Nepal’. Describing a first-time trekkers experience in a new country, the book takes the reader around the Annapurna Circuit. It introduces the locals, their customs, the places, the views, the highs and the lows. Starting in the tropics, the team of intrepid travellers climb the steep trails, climb over active landslides or through rice paddies before reaching the highlands.
